Fall 2017 Reimbursements

Dear NERRS Referees: I am still processing reimbursements for your services for this past Fall 2017 (matches from June 1 to November 30, 2017). I apologize for the delay. The website issues that we experienced during the season adversely affected the financial statements. We think we have resolved the vast majority of errors and didn’t want to delay reimbursements any longer. In order to receive match reimbursement, you must do four things by Feb 1, 2018: 1) Log onto the NERRS website ( 2) Verify that your mailing address is correct by clicking on the "My Space" button and then the "Edit Profile" button. I will be sending checks to the address shown on the website, so please make sure that it is correct. 3) Click on the "My Space" button and then the "Fall 2017 Expenses" button. Review your matches and amount owed for accuracy. The website is not perfect. There may still be errors or omissions, especially for those of you who participated in tournaments or performed AR duties. If there are any errors or omissions, please send me an e-mail explaining what is incorrect, and what the correction should be. If you have already done so in the past few months, please remind me again. 4) Send me an e-mail ( with your full name in the subject line. In the e-mail state EXACTLY how much you would like to be reimbursed. You also have the option of donating some part or all of your season's reimbursement to charity. Please be specific as to how much you would like to donate to each of the following three charitable organizations: a. The President's Charity (Shanagher Morrison Referee Fund through USA Rugby) b. The New England Rugby Referees Society c. The Michael Jones Supplemental Needs Trust. Please note that all donations made to the president’s charity will be again be matched by NERRS. Failure to perform 1-4 above will force me to perform additional research and will likely delay my processing of your reimbursement. Some of you have sent me e-mails in the past few weeks requesting reimbursements. If I have not already responded affirmatively to you request, please re-send it after making sure that you have followed directions 1-3 above and included the information asked for in #4. Please note that I will deduct $10 from your reimbursement (or donation) to cover your annual dues for NERRS if that was not done after the Spring season. If I do not hear from you before Feb. 1, I will assume that you have donated all of your match fees to NERRS. Please feel free to contact me ( if you have any questions.
