| As Boston's fly half made a clearance kick, Mr Eustace tackled him. The timing of the tackle was not the problem, the ball had just been kicked, but Mr. Eustace was committed to the tackle. The nature of the tackle was the problem as he did not wrap his arms around the kicker, he hit him in the chest with his shoulder. I blew the whistle immediately. Play stopped, there was not further incident. Mr. Eustace understood the sanction and left the pitch without comment. |
