Detailed Report of Incident
After scoring a try, the scorer and Mr Burke had a small altercation. Nothing remotely serious, didn't even merit a talking to of either player. As the scoring player was moved away by his own players, Mr Burke was directly heard by myself to call the scorer a "faggot".

I determined this to by unacceptable language on a rugby field. The player and his captain was called forward, and an explanation given for the straight red card. The player left the field immediately, without a single word of remonstration.

Up to this incident, Mr Burke had played well, with a very good attitude toward the game, with no foul play or previous altercations with the scorer.

Mr Burke used poor judgement in his choice of word, but behaved in an exemplary manor after the incident.
