General Pattern of Play
BC was starting to run away with the score despite numerous handling errors. Committed tackling from both teams set a very physical tone for the match.

Detailed Report of Incident
Northeastern managed to create a 2 v 1 at the halfway line near their own touch line. A BC cover defender (Mr. Thomas) was chasing down the Northeastern wing, who kicked ahead to keep play alive as Mr. Thomas grabbed him by the collar and pulled him back and down. I did not judge the action to be late and I judged that the other BC cover defenders would have contested the kick collection so a penalty try was not warranted. I blew p;lay dead, showed the yellow card, and play resumed without further incident.
