Weather and Field Conditions
Raw, windy, with the occasional spell of rain. Narrow field worn nearly bare of grass, making for slick running conditions.

General Pattern of Play
The game started with a lack of discipline on both sides. Southern marshaled its emotions after a rough start while UMass Lowell continued to direct its frustration towards the referee and opposition players, failing to execute its game plan.

Detailed Report of Incident
UMass Lowell's captain found it necessary throughout the game to question the majority of calls that went against his team, frequently offering a counterargument after an explanation had been offered. At the 63-minute mark, he was taken aside and cautioned that any further such behavior would draw a yellow card. At 65 minutes, Southern scored and was having difficulty teeing up the conversion attempt under very windy conditions. UMass Lowell charged an attempt after the referee had signaled to the kicker that he could replace the ball, which had been blown off the tee. After my allowing the kicker another attempt, UMass Lowell's captain argued that their charge was legal and that I shouldn't have allowed the rekick. Based on my caution of just 2 minutes prior, I sent their captain off.
