Detailed Report of Incident
In the aftermath of a long run, tackle, and untangling of bodies, Mr. Perrault took severe exception to what he perceived as an 'after-the-whistle' shot from a UMass player. I clearly saw Mr. Perrault throw two punches into a UMass player. I stopped play, instructed the captains to take their respective teams back away from the incident, brought the captains and Mr. Perrault to me, and issued a red card. As he left the field, Mr. Perrault told me it was retaliation (for something I did not see) but accepted the consequence. He later apologized to me and to the player he struck.
