General Pattern of Play
Harvard had dominated the first half and were the better side on many levels, except discipline and sportsmanship (i.e. verbal provocations).

Detailed Report of Incident
Shortly after kicking-off the second half, a ruck was formed around midfield. Penn was in possession and moved the ball off the ruck. Their first center went through Harvard's first line of defense and was tackled by two Harvard players just before entering the 22. Mr. Combes was the third arriving player and his arm wrapped around the Penn ball carrier as he was getting pulled to the ground. In my opinion there was no intent to hurt and Mr. Combes just miscalculated the high of his tackle, but is was fast and potentially dangerous enough that it warranted a yellow card. Mr. Combes immediately realized what was coming, apologized and left the pitch without any protest.
