| Near midfield, the ball emerged from a ruck, but Middlesex #20, Alex Holi, and Boston #12, Mike Schoelch, carried on and began throwing punches at one another. Teammates intervened in a positive manner. The whistle was blown, and both players were shown a yellow card keeping them off the pitch until after half-time.
