| Shirt tackle was occuring, with Rutland player holding onto shirt and shorts. Essex player, frustrated with being stopped but not tackled to ground, started to punch the hands of the Rutland player. Immediate whistle was blown with a red card. It was late in the game of 10's. Players were tired. Player was apologetic after game, and during post game handshakes and meal, both players were friendly towards each other. |
