Match Report for

Albany Knickerbockers (1st) vs. Providence
24 September 2016

Location: Parking lot and street parking are available next to the field.

Albany Knickerbockers: 32    Providence: 17

Providence managed to spin the ball wide to their left wing for a number of dangerous runs in the first half, two of which resulted in tries. Halftime score 10-5. A second half Providence try extended their lead to 17-5 before Albany rattled off 5 unanswered tries with an impressive display of hitting strike runners in gaps and providing multiple support options which changed the angle of attack and kept the ball moving. It didn't hurt Albany that they were going downhill on their sloped field in the second half and that they had an ample bench compared to Providence's 15 man squad.
