Bowdoin 5 Tries, 4 Conversions. St Michaels 5 Tries.

What looked like a done deal at halftime turned into an exciting match as St Michaels roared back in the second half with four unconverted tries, but Bowdoin sealed their win with a try for a 33-25 victory at home.

Bowdoin opened the scoring off the kickoff with a converted try, followed by two more for a 21-0 lead. St Michaels scored before the end of the half to make the score 21-5. St Michaels came out for the second half looking a different team and scored four tries, all unconverted, to two more Bowdoin tries, one converted for the 33-25 final score. Bowdoin's forwards were powerful in the set scrums and St Michaels ran well and powerfully close to the breakdowns. The player of the match was the Bowdoin #7 who scored three tries including a beautifuly timed intercepted pass from a lineout, was a sure tackler and was the most disciplined player on the field. St Michael's #7 also ran strongly and the entire St Michaels team looked good when going forward. Good game and well done by all the players on both teams.
