Match Report for

Providence Women vs. Portland Women
08 April 2017

Location: Street parking

Providence Women: 41    Portland Women: 0

Providence posted to Portland on their muddy but relatively runnable pitch. Portland's plan of attack was mostly to punch it up using their forwards. Providence had a more open game with dummy runners and chip kicks. Providence's plan proved to be the more effective. They outscored Portland five tries to none in the first half. Portland's defense and offense became more lively in the second half, and they limited Providence to two tries. They ended the game with several attacking series, but were never able to convert for points. It was a good game played all around.
