We had a perfect day for rugby, 65 degrees and sunny. The spectators were treated to an exciting, back and forth match. With 91 points scored there was plenty of entertainment for everyone. UVM started the game determined to set the tone early, this led to 3 tries in the first 13 minutes. UNH continued to fight back and punched their own try in 4 minutes later. The rest of the half was primarily controlled by UVM. The score at the half was 29-16 in favor of UVM. UNH came out in the 2nd half ready to start their comeback bid. The second half is filled with back and forth rugby, both teams having big runs and committing penalties. UNH took advantage of a UVM yellow card (dump tackle). UNH scored with only a couple minutes remaining to go up by 4. On the ensuing kickoff, UVM goes up and grabs the ball. UVM runs through a few phases and is able to score a try just left of the post. The UVM kicker makes the conversion and the final whistle was blown.
