SCORE
Charles River: 36    North Shore: 27

What a game! It started with North Shore scoring their first try 2 minutes into the game (not converted), but it did not take long for Charles River to wake up and counter and score 2 tries of their own, 1 converted. While overall discipline was outstanding, Charles River committed 2 infringements at the ruck back to back, one too many as North Shore took their chance and score a penalty goal. Charles River put additional pressure on the visitors at the rucks and the grind ended up paying off with another 2 tries - at half time Charles River led 22 to 8. The second half was very balanced, but North Shore used a few savvy combinations from their back-lines and some their opponents' defensive mistakes to score and come back: 22-22 with 15 minutes to go. It could have gone either way as both teams showed equal strength and skills, but Charles River took the upper end with 2 converted tries. With 5 minutes to go, North Shore did not give up and kept getting the 22, scoring one last beautiful try in the right corner, not converted. Final score: 36-27.
