Location: The field is located inside of Alumni Stadium, an easily visible structure on BC's campus. Parking is available beyond the stadium. Parking garages are also available and located very close to the stadium

Boston College v UMass Amherst is a Division 1 Collegiate Men's match. as Boston College is moving to a different League, they played as an independent. It was played in Alumni Stadium and it was a wonderful last weekend in October - sunny & temperatures in the low 70s.

This match was extremely physical right from the onset. Unfortunately, UMass was sanctioned very early in the match with a dangerous tackle at the second minute and team repeat infringements inside the 22 at the fifth minute and were two-players down. BC scored immediately after the second penalty (7-0). BC was unable to take additional advantage for being up two players and the match continued to move back-and-forth-between the 22's. UMass score a converted try at the 30th minute and the half ended with both teams leveled at 7.

The second half was similar to the first with both teams playing a physical match. BC scored first slotting a penalty kick at the 50th minute and then a try at the 58th minute. UMass was able to close the gap with a converted try at the 74th minute. BC had the last score with a penalty at full time. 20-14.
